This rod bridges the gap after our prized 12’6 S3, handling the same line weights but offering

improved performance in both short-line control and distance. It’s significantly lighter, making

casting effortless hour after hour. A joy to fish over long days and weeks, yet powerful enough to

handle big fish in fast, challenging pools. Thanks to the enhanced S4 technology, this #8/9-

weight rod will take over much of the fishing traditionally done with 14-footers, even performing
