Our trout,sea-trout and salmon gye nets. These nets are all designed in the same way with the exception of the strength of materials used for each and of course their sizes. The trout gye net has a 19" net frame and has a shaft length of 42". The sea-trout/grilse net has a 22"net frame with a shaft length of 44" and the Salmon net has a 26" frame size and has a shaft length of 46". Each of these nets have attached bungee cords fitted with quick release clips as standard. All of our gye nets use the hexagraph shaped shafts for incredible strength to weight ratios and as the Knuckle that holds the net frame is moulded from glass resins it doesn't corrode or have that annoying habit of sticking to the shaft when you need it quickly.
We also have weigh systems for each of our gye nets which go from 10lb, 17lbs and 44lbs. As can be seen from the photographs these systems fit onto the net shafts and do not hinder net operations but mean that you can safely weigh your catch with no handling required and the fish being safely returned to the water. Fish handling and care were our main drivers when designing this system.

All our net frames are manufactured using a unique diamond aluminium alloy rim. As with all our aluminium products this is an age hardened and tempered aluminium alloy. In the case of our Salmon Gye nets we have used a hexagonal alloy shaft which is the strongest on the market today.

The net bags are made of knotless mesh and are shake dry so as not to carry the smells after a days fishing. These nets are perfect for the care of any fish landed.

We believe our nets and associated products are the best on the market today and will not be surpassed in their strength to weight ratio.

All our products and their parts are made and manufactured in Scotland and you can be assured that they all will perform beautifully in the field.
