This modern Diawl Bach pattern we have found to be amazingly successful whilst fishing near the surface and in particular on the washing line method. A very simplistic design with a slim black ice dub body ribbed with red holo tinsel and black tail it is finished off with sunburst edge goose biot cheeks. This is a particularly "fishy" fly and one that you should have in your box. The fly doesn't have a beard hackle as we have found this reduces leader spin when this style of nymph is fished on the dropper.
